Moles are usually solitary creatures excepting in the breeding season early each year. Their constant tunnelling in search of worms causes damage to lawns, golf courses and pitches and causes the ground to collapse into their tunnels. Tunnelling also destroys the roots of trees and shrubs and lowers the yields of crops planted for food. Mud and stones brought to the surface damage sileage and mower blades. Tripping into tunnels breaks the ankles of livestock, adults and children.
Moles are removed from lawns and fields by trapping which usually requires experience, skill and patience. We take on mole work in selected local areas due to the intense nature of the work and the frequent site visits required.
